I have run a photography business, Anjali Huynh Photography, since 2017 in order to provide affordable portraits to the Iowa City community. Around this time, I also began taking photos journalistically while reporting on events throughout Iowa and beyond. Below are some examples of galleries published for news outlets:

My latest for @littlevillagemag is linked in my bio, and I encourage all of you to read. While Minneapolis sparked the revolution that has overtaken the country, it has since served as a leader for others cities in organizing peaceful #GeorgeFloydProtests well, as I saw when I visited the Twin Cities a couple weeks ago. The community has truly come together to mourn #GeorgeFloyd and fight to ensure that the #BlackLivesMatter movement instigates change. Here's some of the photos from protests I attended.

March for Our Lives Iowa held ‘Dance for Our Lives’ on Saturday to further awareness of gun violence among young people. Held in a club-like atmosphere, the event included prominent speakers, the opportunity to chat with campaign workers from Democratic presidential campaigns and a station where attendees wrote letters to senators Joni Ernst and Chuck Grassley. 📸 @anj.shoots
