Welcome to my portfolio.

My name is Anjali Huynh, and I am a student at Emory University pursuing my B.A. in political science and quantitative sciences.
I currently serve as Staff Writer for Little Village Magazine and News Editor for The Emory Wheel. Previously, I wrote for Iowa City West High’s student newspaper West Side Story for three years, where I served as Print Managing Editor/Co-Copy Editor and won National Writer of the Year. Additionally, I served as an Editorial Intern for Little Village Magazine for a year and have several bylines in The Cedar Rapids Gazette.
Journalism is undoubtedly my greatest passion. I find joy in conversations with strangers, in shocked expressions as readers pore over uncovered truths, and in smiles from sources whose voices were made heard. As part of the next generation of journalists, I strive to act as a liaison between individuals and my audience, practicing as a storyteller utilizing various mediums.
Thank you for taking the time to look at my work.
